Our families know that choosing Paws and Claws' daycare means your dog can expect a day rich with exercise, active learning, social interaction, and play with dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. Caring for our clients' four-legged family members is our staff’s top priority!

Daycare with a Difference
Our small groups of up to 15 dogs per group offer safe interaction and are supervised by our knowledgeable and trained staff. Our “Daycare with a Difference” guests enjoy a rotating schedule of daycare, learning manners, tricks, and obedience followed by an hour of rest. The rotating scheduling makes for exciting changes throughout the day for the perfect combination of mental and physical activity!
Check In & Playtime - 6:30am – 9:30am
Group Play, Active Learning & Rest - 9:30am – 4pm
We have fun activity days and extra treats, like Doggie Ice Cream Sundaes, that take place twice weekly. We reinforce core skills:
- Look at Me - your dog will learn to gaze into your eyes
- Gate Manners - learn to wait for permission to exit
- Find your Place - go to a spot and stay
- Please Wait - learn to wait for your turn or even for a cookie
- Let’s get Tricky - tricks are fun, mental enrichment, & just plain cute
Half-Day Check Out - 12pm – 1pm
Group Play & Check Out - 4pm – 6:30pm

Schedule your evaluation today so your pet can join our doggie daycare! Evaluations are held Monday-Thursday from 9:30-11:30am and are $10 per dog. Please fill out our application form to get started.
Our Daycare Facility
Our facility is comfortable and has plenty of space for your pet! Inside, we have surgical-grade flooring and antimicrobial wall coverings. All play areas have at least 2 doors or gates before the dogs reach the outdoors. Outside we have 22,000 square feet with recycled rubber mulch and natural grass play yards. All outer fencing is 6 feet tall. Splash pools, sprinklers, and shade sails keep the pups cool during the warmer months. The facility is cleaned inside and out daily. Waste is scooped constantly throughout the day.

Requirements
Dogs must be 4 months old to attend daycare and must have been in their home for a minimum of 1 month. Daycare is a great way for your social dog to maintain their socialization skills with other dogs, but not necessarily the best way to teach your dog to be social. If you are looking for socialization opportunities for your 2-6-month-old puppy, make sure you check out our Puppy Socials! Unspayed/unneutered dogs are welcome in daycare, with the following exceptions. All males are required to be altered by 1 year. Unspayed females (not in heat) over 1-year-old may be accepted on an individual basis. Females in heat (and one week post-cycle) are not permitted in any group play setting.
Proof of a current rabies vaccine is required for all pets over 6 months of age (received by us before their visit). Distemper and Bordetella are also recommended. For the safety of all our guests we cannot allow animals with existing fleas into our facility. If fleas are discovered on a pet already checked in, we will give them Capstar (a fast-acting oral flea treatment) and then bathe them in a natural flea shampoo (additional charges apply). Owners will need to follow up with a flea treatment (preferably an oral treatment like NexGuard or Capstar).
